In the Fall 2021 issue of Voices of Laurel, we included a special four-page Voters' Guide to assist residents with the upcoming City Council election. The Laurel Leader, which had provided this important tool in the past, would no longer do so; and the timing of our quarterly newspaper was such that we were able to produce our own. Completely nonpartisan, we submitted the same set of questions to each of the candidates—and printed their responses verbatim. The Laurel Municipal Center (the city's primary polling location) was also added as a key distribution point for the free quarterly newspaper.
