Charlie Nickell and his family owned the Big T Family Restaurant featuring Tastee-Freez from 1974–2007. Charlie preserved an archive of photos and ephemera from the restaurant, as well as Laurel's popular softball leagues of the 1980s, the teams from which were sponsored by a who's who of local businesses. The collection also includes photos and videos of Charlie's band, The Whitewalls, who performed at numerous venues in Laurel and beyond.
